Auto-generated summaryWritten by claude-sonnet-5 from the order’s own text · prompt v4 ·

Amends Executive Order 13173, which created the Interagency Task Force on the Economic Development of the Central San Joaquin Valley. Revises the Task Force's membership to include the Secretaries of Agriculture, Commerce, Defense, the Interior, Education, Health and Human Services, Housing and Urban Development, Energy, Labor, Transportation, and the Treasury, the Attorney General, the Director of the Office of Management and Budget, the Director of National Drug Control Policy, the Administrator of General Services, the Administrator of the Small Business Administration, the Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency, or their designees, plus other senior officials the Task Force designates. Keeps the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development as Chair and directs each participating department or agency to designate one staff person for 2004 through 2006 to work on Task Force issues. Adds a reference to analyzing regulations in the Task Force's duties, and restates that the order creates no enforceable legal rights against the federal government.
